Believe it or not, becoming a Hawaii wedding videographer and lifestyle content creator was not always on my list of “to-dos.” Although I had an innate love for video storytelling since high school and would often edit short films for family and friends, I didn’t pursue it. Instead, after high school, I focused on pursuing my education and career in sports medicine and exercise science. Wild, right?

Fast forward to 2018; I was at home planning a trip to India when I saw a short film on YouTube about Sadhu life in India. I rewatched this short film repeatedly, studying every shot & frame.

Aloha, I’m Kris!

I was obsessed, and this became a catalyst in my life as I had a surge of inspiration to create and tell stories.

That’s My Story, So What’s Your Story?

By the end of 2019, I bought my first camera, said goodbye to my sports medicine career, enrolled in the film program at the University of Hawai’i, and the rest is history. Since then, my filmmaking path has led me to shoot small and large-scale productions such as American Idol, Cooking Hawaiian Style, local commercials, events, music videos, weddings, and so much more. Today, I travel the world, documenting and bringing others’ visions to life on screens large and small.
